    Old Exam Papers<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Old exam papers <\/span><\/strong>are available from all our subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science) from Bachelor and Master level courses. They rely both on the professors‘ willingness to cooperate and on the willingness of students to \u201ctranscribe\u201d (i.e., copy down, in anonymized form, of course) the exam questions for us. We’re always happy to receive new ideas here at fachschaft@mathphys.stura.uni-heidelberg.de<\/a> (handwritten submissions are also welcome; we’ll then typeset them in TeX).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Copying old exam papers is really simple: Just come to our office\/Fachschaftsraum during our opening hours. <\/a>We simply enter you into our system and then you can lend the folder and copy the exams.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/h2>\n

    <\/span>Examination Reports for Oral exams (MVMOD)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Examination reports <\/strong><\/span>can help you to prepare for oral exams (espacially the MVMod in the Physics Master) and are send by us via E-Mail. Simply send us an E-Mail<\/a> with your name. your\u00a0 Uni-ID<\/strong> (die ist 5-Stellig und besteht aus 2 Buchstaben und 3 Zahlen) as well as your examiners and subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n

    It typically takes several days to process emails. So please send an email at least two weeks<\/strong> before your oral exam. Keep in mind that requests must be processed manually. Therefore, please keep your requests to a minimum, especially those regarding examiners.<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span>Submit an exam reports\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

    We owe the fact that we have exam reports entirely to you, the students, who submit reports of your own exams! Please help us out and send us your exam report via email in PDF format (you may also attach a TeX file if you wish) to.<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span>Formal Requirements for Exam Reports
    <\/strong><\/span>Aside from the file format, it\u2019s entirely up to you what you include in the report and what you leave out. Tip: Put yourself back in the mindset you had before the exam and think about which questions were on your mind. Feel free to draw on ideas from other reports or even improve upon them.
    <\/span><\/h3>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    In general, to maintain anonymity, it\u2019s recommended not to specify the exact date of the exam, but only the month and year. Readers also appreciate hearing about how much effort you put into studying and what prior knowledge you had, to put that score in context. It\u2019s also nice to include a final conclusion about whether you\u2019d recommend the examiner based on their style\u2014do they offer helpful tips, or do they not even let you finish speaking?<\/span><\/p>\n
